Shane Butler (b.1987) is a photographer based in Norfolk, Virginia. As a student at Old Dominion University Shane began using photography to explore the aesthetic results of human creation and manipulation in our everyday surroundings. While at Old Dominion he was the recipient of a Virginia Museum of Fine Arts fellowship award and was included in the 2009 PDN Photo Annual. Shane graduated from Old Dominion in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photo & Print Media.
